Assad Cafe Restaurant and Mini Mart reviews
Its a small cafe on United Nations Ave, near Khalsa Diwan temple. They serve Indian as well as Filipino food. Indian menu covers many dishes but the taste is nowhere close to good restaurants such as New Bombay. Given the price its still value for money though. Lassi is good and can be tried.
This is def not authentic Indian food. The Butter Naan was a joke, disgusting (see photo). The chana Kidal was eatable but too salty. Would not order it again. Staff could be more friendly and attentive.
